Ken helped us through the whole process from when we decided it was time to sell our home until we closed. Before we listed he helped us identify the improvements we needed to make to make our house more attractive to buyers and kept us on track with a specific list of steps to get the house ready. He is also knowledgeable about local contractors and other personnel we needed to hire through the process. He helped us stage the house when we were ready to list it. And he took care of some of the paperwork once we had a buyer. Throughout the process he was responsive to our questions and concerns.

Ken helped us buy a new home and sell our old one. It was a great pleasure to work with him throughout both processes. Ken knows South Orange/Maplewood well. We met with him months before we were ready to dive in. He advised us on how to prepare our home to sell, kept us very informed on the best timing to list it and then worked tirelessly to help us buy and sell once we were ready. He's a tenacious, trustworthy, great guy. I highly recommend working with him.

Ken sold my childhood home in the Summer 2013 having started the journey earlier in February. There was work to be done and Ken was there throughout to cheer me on! Painting, decorating, offering advise when needed. We went through the realtor open house and listed in the same week having generated much interest. Listed on Thursday, open house on Sunday, (it rained) and still had three solid offers! Went to contract on Tuesday in less than a week! I highly recommend Ken for his knowledge of the market, his professionalism and promptness in answering phone, emails and texts. His photographer really caught the essence of the house. The listing sheets where wonderful too. All his referrals for trade workers where a pleasure to work with. You will not be disappointed with the job Ken does.

Ken was great to work with, he helped us buy our Maplewood home a few years back and now helped us sell it. He is very knowledgeable of the neighborhood and the market trends. His guidance throughout the sale of our house was a tremendous help as first time property sellers.

We worked with Ken on the sale of our first house. As first time home sellers, we were highly impressed by Ken's thorough assessment of our property and with the marketing strategy he shared to highlight the value in the house. This was even before we signed a contract with him! In order to prepare the house for sale, Ken played a great role in staging recommendations and in accentuating the important features of the house. He was meticulous in staging and preparing the house for photoshoots and open-houses. He guided us through the entire process, providing quality insights and counsel along the way. We used Ken as our buyer's and seller's agent in the spring and summer of 2015. He was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to make a move in the area of Maplewood and South Orange. He was patient when we needed him to be, agressive and knowledgeable when we wanted him to be. He went above and beyond in a very competitive market. You need someone with local insight to help you figure out when and what to bid and Ken was very helpful.

Ken is a great realtor. We had a great experience purchasing our home with Ken. We had experience with a few well known realtors in the area and found that Ken had the best understanding of what we wanted. Ken responses very quickly. He's local market knowledge is definitely a pro when purchasing a home. To date Ken is very responsive sharing recommendations with us- 2 months after purchasing our home.

Ken was super helpful from the get-go. He walked us through the home buying process and answered every little question we had. Ken has a ton of experience and was able to give great suggestions for changes we could make to a house and the potential of each of the listings that we saw. He was also great for negotiating with sellers and understanding how the market works.Being a first-time home buyer in this crazy market was very intimidating but Ken help us along and always looked out for us. The day we met Ken, we knew that he was the Agent to sell our home of fifty years. Open House was Labor Day weekend of 2014. Twodays later we had two sound offers. We met Ken at one of the many open houses we attended while searching for a home. It was late in the day and we were able to talk to Ken at length about what we were interested in, in a home, area and lifestyle. We never felt like we were talking to a realtor, but to someone that was already in our circle of friends that we had known for a long time.
Open houses are as much about finding a realtor as it is about finding a home. You get to interview the person that is going to help you spend a lifetime's worth of money on something you hope to enjoy for lifetime. A huge responsibility.
We had already met many realtors, but nothing 'clicked'. Many pounced on us and tried to push us into a contract from the outset. Some just didn't seem interested or professional. There were a few that might have done a good job, but we just weren't feeling the vibe.
As we walked to the car after meeting Ken at the open house, we both looked at each other and said we were going to talk to Ken when we were ready to make a move.
Not long after that we called Ken. We were still cautious at this point about moving forward and asked Ken if he would show us homes one weekend before we committed to a contract. He was happy to oblige.
Ken showed us many homes and neighborhoods that would have fit our requirements, Ken is from the area and knows everything about the neighborhood. But we had already met our dream home during one of our many trips to open houses. We asked Ken if he would show it to us. Again, he was happy to oblige, he immediately contacted the realtor and we were quickly touring the home that would soon be ours.
As luck would have it, the price on the home had dropped! It was now potentially in our price range. This was our first home, and Ken guided us through the whole offer and buying process, answering all our questions. The homeowners accepted our offer and we quickly started to become home buyers. Ken stayed on top of things; he was always there when we needed him. He ensured inspections and appraisals came off without a hitch, and always had a list of service providers to contact when we needed them.
We have been in our home for over a year and a half and are still happy homeowners. We attribute the smooth sailing of our purchase to Ken’s professional knowledge and experience. We highly recommend him.
